Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy defines prohibited uses of Sagentic services and applies to all customers, users, and connected integrations.

1. Purpose and scope

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") protects customers, end users, carriers, and third-party providers by defining prohibited uses of Sagentic services. Compliance with this AUP is mandatory under the Terms of Service.

2. Prohibited business categories

The following business categories are prohibited from using Sagentic services:

  • Adult entertainment, sexually explicit products, or escort-related services.
  • Cannabis or controlled-substance sales where restricted or unlawful.
  • Firearms, ammunition, weapons sales, or weapon brokerage.
  • Gambling, betting, sweepstakes abuse, or unlicensed gaming operations.
  • Debt collection practices that violate applicable law or consumer protections.
  • Phishing, scam operations, deceptive lead-generation, or fraudulent services.
  • Any business prohibited by carriers, payment networks, or applicable law.

3. Prohibited activity and platform misuse

  • Harassment, threats, abuse, hate speech, or intimidation of any person.
  • Spam campaigns, unsolicited mass messaging, and robocall abuse.
  • Impersonation of emergency services, government entities, or other organizations.
  • Use of false caller ID, spoofing, or deceptive sender identity practices.
  • Distribution of malware, malicious links, or attempts to compromise systems.
  • Unauthorized access, scraping, reverse engineering, or circumventing platform controls.
  • Violations of privacy, recording consent, consumer protection, or communications law.

4. Prohibited AI agent content

AI agent responses, prompts, and automation workflows may not include:

  • Sexual, explicit, exploitative, or abusive content.
  • Hateful, discriminatory, or extremist content.
  • Illegal instructions, fraud enablement, or evasion of legal obligations.
  • Medical, legal, or financial misrepresentation presented as professional advice.
  • Content designed to mislead users about the identity or capabilities of the system.

5. Messaging, anti-spam, and telephony conduct

  • Obtain proper consent before calling or texting recipients.
  • Honor STOP and HELP requests and maintain suppression lists.
  • Comply with TCPA, CTIA guidelines, and carrier-specific requirements.
  • Do not use Sagentic for SHAFT-related campaigns or prohibited content categories.
  • Maintain accurate records of consent and communication context.

6. Enforcement and consequences

When we identify actual or suspected violations, Sagentic may:

  • Issue a warning and require corrective action within a defined period.
  • Temporarily suspend specific features, campaigns, numbers, or account access.
  • Remove or block content, workflows, or integrations associated with abuse.
  • Immediately terminate accounts for severe, repeated, or high-risk violations.
  • Cooperate with regulators, carriers, and law enforcement when required.

7. Reporting abuse

To report suspected abuse, policy violations, or unlawful use of the platform, contact [email protected] with relevant details (account, date/time, message/call sample, and supporting evidence).
