SMS & Messaging Policy

This SMS & Messaging Policy explains how Sagentic LLC sends text messages on behalf of businesses using our platform, how consent is obtained, and how recipients can opt out.

Effective date: February 25, 2026

Last updated: February 25, 2026

1. Overview

Sagentic LLC ("Sagentic," "we," "our," or "us") provides AI-powered voice and messaging services for small and medium-sized businesses. As part of these services, Sagentic may send SMS text messages to customers on behalf of the businesses using our platform.

This policy applies to all SMS and text messages sent through the Sagentic platform via Twilio or other messaging providers.

3. Types of messages

Messages sent through the Sagentic platform include:

  • Follow-up texts: A brief message after a phone call or chat interaction, such as sharing information discussed during the call or confirming next steps.
  • Appointment confirmations and reminders: Booking confirmations, appointment reminders, and scheduling updates.
  • Review requests: A message with a link to leave a review on Google or another review platform, sent after a positive customer interaction.
  • Callback notifications: A message confirming that a callback has been scheduled or that the business will follow up.

Messages are directly related to the customer's interaction with the business and are not used for unrelated marketing or promotional purposes.

4. Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on customer interactions with the business. A typical customer interaction will result in no more than 1-3 text messages (e.g., one follow-up text and one review request). Recurring or ongoing messaging campaigns are not sent without explicit additional consent.

5. Opt-out and STOP

Every SMS message sent through the Sagentic platform includes opt-out instructions. Recipients may opt out at any time by:

  • Replying STOP to any message to immediately unsubscribe from future SMS communications from that business.
  • Replying HELP for assistance and contact information.
  • Contacting the business directly to request removal from SMS communications.
  • Emailing [email protected] with the phone number and business name to request opt-out.

Once a recipient opts out, no further messages will be sent to that phone number from that business unless the recipient re-initiates contact and provides new consent. Opt-out requests are processed immediately.

6. Data protection

Phone numbers and message content are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Phone numbers are stored securely and are only used for the purposes described in this policy. We do not sell, rent, or share phone numbers with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

7. Carrier rates

Standard message and data rates may apply depending on the recipient's wireless carrier and plan. Sagentic is not responsible for any charges incurred by recipients from their wireless carrier.
